Bank Danamon is one of the biggest privately owned banking company in Indonesia. The Company was established in 1956 and previously known as Bank Kopra Indonesia. In 1976, the Company transforfed into current name. Bank Danamon is based in Jakarta and as of  September 2012 operates more than 3,200 branch offices and points of sales, including its Micro Units (DSP), Syariah units, and its subsidiaries branches  in all 33 provinces in Indonesia. In 2011, the Bank awarded as the 1st Winner in Mobile Banking Service Excellence Awards 2011 held by Infobank. Based on Bank Danamon Financial Results in 3rd Quarter of 2012, the Company booked of Rp2.99 trillion as its consolidated net profit after tax (NPAT) for the first nine months of 2012, increased by 22% from Rp2.45 trillion recorded in the same period in 2011.
